Tires for OEM 19s : The end-all thread

I have searched through tons of pages for this info and have found nothing conclusive, so, here we go.
I bought new tires for my car, 235/35/19 front and 255/40/19 rear.
Long story short, these tires are making my VDC and abs go crazy and I need new tires.
What are acceptable staggered tire sizes to run on the OEM 19s?
I would like to hear from people who actually have the tires on their car. Maybe this thread can be stickied and be the end-all to the "OEM 19 Tire" questions.

Either stock size, or 245/35/19 and 255/40/19 would be the only safe choices IMO.

I’ve been running 245/35/19 up front and 265/35/19 in back for more than 10,000 miles and no problems.

I had 245/35/19 front, 255/40/19 rear Toyo T1rs mounted on the stock 19s w/o bulge and they kept the VDC "happy".

anyone find some good high preformance all seasons to fit the OEM 19s?
I want some for my OEM 19s to run in the winter months, for I have wider aftermarket 19s with KDWv2 for the summer.
If anyone recomends some (that they have used) I will be then selling my 3rd set of wheels, OEM 17s.

Please dont tell me to keep the 17s for winter and chuck the 19s idea. I live in a milder climate in the winter and want looks over preformance. Besides, I have a Silverado if the going gets real tuff.

Thanks for the imput!

try out the Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS pole position. Great high performance all season tires.

I thank you for your imput, but all due respect...

Im sure its a great all season performance tire, but not in our OEM 19" sizes, or anything usable at that...

I am looking for definitive answers, not links, recommendations, guesses, Etc.

Oem sizes 225/245 40 19s, or usable equivalent sizes.

thanks in advance for any input...

I just wanted a set that would "work", so I went with near-OEM sizes:
225/35/19 and 245/35/19
For some reason I got it in my head that I wanted to go wider, but I think the OEM widths are fine because Im putting out near stock power, and I drive pretty conservativly.
