i think that if you dont run proper ratio's it will throw off your speedometer. Using that link thats stickied on the top of this sub-forum it says that your speedometer reading with those profiles are gonna be 3.6% too fast, so you are going to be traveling at 57.8 mph when your speedo reads 60mph.

anyways i do have pics of 245/35/19 & 275/35/19.
let me see if i do this right..

hope this clears stuff up. ;]

So I would be better off keeping the 255/40 on the rear and just switching the front to a 245/35 ?
I had thought about that, but I really like how the 235 handles in the front as opposed to the 245

IF you running OEM 19" what size tires would you go with if your car is 1.2" (f) 0.9 (back) drop..An you want to cover up a good amount of gap.. but at the same time you don't want too much tire showing?

245/35 and 255/40 seems to be a good choice for OEM 19's but what are some tires that will last.

T1-R's are the MOST popular choice by users on this forum, just from all the information and stories I've read.
I think people consider the Toyo's as the best "bang for the buck". There are "better" tires out there, but they cost alot more, and the tread life on the Toyo's is good. 15k-35k in most cases, from everything I've read. Usage will vary according to your driving style, naturally.

Search...there have been probably more threads on "What's the best tire?" than anything else on this forum

Bridgestone Potenza S03s ROCK!

I used them before on my Acura CL Type-S

and now I'm using them on my G35

They last quite al ong time and they're really decent so far as traction goes. GREAT all-weather tire and great in the rain.

Bridgestone has discontinued them to start up a new line so they're half-off everywhere!

They used to be REALLY pricey but I just got a set for front and rear for $800 shipped. on these bad boys.
