Earl is a hurricane, for the meteorologically-challenged among us. It will arrive in NS and NB soon...early Saturday, IIRC.

lol, i forgot about the storm....I thought it was some guy with a sick G going up to the east coast lol

I just looked on the weather.com and this looks big. They are saying 2 more (Gaston and Fiona) are right behind Earl

LOL, I wish it were, Ian but no it's the first one of the nasties out in the Atlantic ready to pay an unwelcomed visit to our peeps on the US & Canada east coasts.

Thanks guys. My wife and I have an important trip planned from home to Bathurst leaving Saturday am. Will be watching this one carefully tomorrow.

We hurricane proofed the yard and deck tonight.

Maybe not Earl associated, but we had about 6 min. of huge hail. I ran out and threw blankets over the G. WTF. I'll wash it tonight and hopefully there'll be no dammage.

Wow, Sam, we had some intense rainfall and some winds just south of you, but nothing like you got........Hope the G is unscathed......
