'07 Sedan rear brake pad replacement

Hi guys,

I have found numerous brake pad threads but I am looking for opinions on a specific set so hence another brake pad thread.
Has any one used any of the 3 brands sold here Autopartsway.ca
I have heard the PBR brand is pretty good.
I like dealing with these guys. They have good prices, they have been reliable and they usually ship to my door by next day.
- I wonder if these Akebonos fit the stock G35x caliper? Even if they do fit are they overkill for me?
- Should I reuse my shims they are in good condition? I have in the past with most vehicles.

Any recommendations to any other good pads from a local supplier at an equivalent price range would be helpful as well.

I don't drive hard, I don't track my car so I don't need anyone to tell me to put on racing pads, Brembos, SS lines etc etc...that's not what this is about and not going to happen. That's why I posted in my 'home' section.

Thanks

Satisfied is a good choice. I had a set installed and I was, um, satisfied with their performance - quiet, smooth and low dust. PBR is what used to be Repco - I had bad luck with them. YM&BMV

Which rear brake pads did you buy, Akebono or PBR and how do you like them?

I don't recommend hawks ever, garbage pads.

Does your car have the Akebono BBK? Edit: nvm missed it in your original post.

I suggest EBC green stuff, I use them for everything and they are great pads and priced well.

If you're not in a rush I can grab you a set next time I'm in Suaga, I have to get parts for saach as well. Sorry saach lol
