i've stored my integra type r for 4 years. 2 years continuously and then 2 more winters.

the suspension did sag for a bit, but after a week or two of driving it settled back down to normal.

ive since stored the car with ****ty wheels/tire combo's as the biggest concern for storing cars on the tires are especially in canada, where you have difference in temperature inside or outside. if you don't have a heated, controlled temperature in the garage than it can result in tires cracking or flat spotting.

depending on the type of tire or compound will pend if it can take the difference in temperatures.

storing cars on their wheels risk tires being flat spotted.

I raise my wheels off the ground too. These Ecsta SPTs flatspot over night so bad as it is. It takes 15 minutes to round them out every day. Sand bags work well for avoiding flat spots too. As much as a pain as jacking though.

I absolutely hate road noise with flat spots. It drives me nuts, especially when you're driving a higher quality car and the tires suck! I think this year im going to try jackstands with the wheels off. Like I mentioned above the tires are brand new so I'd like to keep them intact. I'm hopeful the suspension will be fine. I'm definitely going to look into those jackstands that go on the lugs where they replace the wheels!

I just put the stock wheels on during the winter. Don't care if they get flat spots.

I made the mistake of selling mine and I should've known better.

I sold mine too because they no longer fit over the Brembos, but bought these real cheap yesterday. Flat spot issues alleviated...

$450. Front tires have 80-90% tread, but a cheap "Triangle" tire. Rears are pretty much done. I Just need them to hold the car off the ground and allow me to roll the car around the shop over the winter.

yes same here.. i would rather use the stands than rely on bricks.. i think it's way safer and a lot more reliable...

^ I think it was more of a figure of speach. He didn't mean "Brick" bricks.
