I am sitting here checking the forums trying to find the motivation to swap to winter wheels and tires...the impact wrench is on the charger and it's about 36deg F here in Jersey with a good amount of wind chill....brrr..only a 30% change of precip today and nothing til Sunday. Maybe I will change today, maybe I won't lol.

Do keep in mind that below, I think it's 7 degrees C, summer tires begin to harden and dont loose grip. Swapping winter tires on isn't only to grip in snow, snow tires are engineered for different temperatures, giving you better grip even on pavement.

Even all-seasons are bad at 7C.

When I mounted the winters (no tpms), the TPMS light took like 3 weeks to turn on. What's with that....lol?

Lots of snow here in London. The roads are closed going back to Kincardine, but it looks like I will probably be spending another week in this Hotel until my wife is released from the Hospital here. This living in a Hotel room eating microwaved food is definitely not finer living.
At least my new winters are working great on my GMC 4x4.

Yup. Dry handling isn't so bad though. It's not like I push my car anywhere close to 75% in the corners. However one time I took an apex a little late due to poor visibility and a little hot. I felt a little more understeer than I was used to. It was def due to the temp being in the low 30s and my late steering input. In the cold wet it becomes difficult launching the car past half throttle.

I'm happy I sucked up the cold weather and did the swap this afternoon. Now I'm ready for at least one more winter...

I hear ya about hotel living Wayne.
It gets old in a hurry.
That was the thing I hated most, when traveling for work.

...not a snow plow, but a new snow blower.

Today was the last straw.
My old blower has been a PITA for the last 3-4 yrs.
I picked up a new Ariens
This thing is a dream compared to the old one.

Thanks Bill, she had some surgery on one of her lungs and then the next day she had to get some emergency surgery. She is on the mend now, just waiting for the go ahead to get out and go home (they figure another week) . We had a few very scary days for sure. But it is good now.

You should have great luck with the Ariens, looks the same as mine. I'm on my second Ariens, the first one I used for 25 years and sold it to get a new one. It never let me down.
