2007 g35x - Bluetooth non nav

Hi, i have a question: I'm not sure if anyone experienced this. I can pair my iphone (3G) with the car's bluetooth without a problem. I get to setup everything, i can make calls, i can receive calls, however the stupid ringtone even though selected and assigned would never ring. All i get is "incoming call" on the screen but no sound, no ringtone. Anyone with similar issue? I did remove the phone and re-added it. All the same.

in the settings, you can pick a ringtone, maybe you selected silent. try picking different ones, make sure you save the settings. I can only think that maybe you're selecting a ringtone but somehow not saving the selection.

Thanks Johnny. I must have tried all of these ringtones by now. It all ends with "Ringtone has been selected". I'm honestly starting to believe is just my iphone - 3G. I'll try a new Iphone 4 and a CrapBerry, just to confirm my suspicion. I'll post back my results later on today

OK...so here it is: BB worked fine right away. Iphone 4 not so much, same behaviour as the 3G. I deleted all phones again and added my 3G. Even though i selected the ringtone, it still doesn't ring with the car's ringtones. It now rings with my iphone's ringtone instead. As long as i have a ringtone, but this is really weird. I also tried the other car's ringtones. Same thing...It's funny how the BB worked flawlessly though.
