Oh Vancouver

With all the rain we've been getting lately (and I guess, always) I'd hate to have a Cold Air Intake right about now...

I've only been here for not even 2 years, and I can't believe how many HUGE puddles there are year round.. You would think with a city that rains that much they would have fixed all the puddle issues in the streets :/

O well, better than snow I guess.

We're lucky here on the island... we can see the rain over your way but it seems to break just before it hits us. We get rained on- but only for short spurts at a time.

I guess I'll need to remember to bring rubbers to Vancouver...

Cai's scare me a bit too with the crazy weather the world gets now. I had a Volvo that met and untimely demise due to a puddle. Thank (enter worship of choice here) for insurance...

Call me selfish, but I'd feel a lot better if you guys were suffering just as we are. So, I throw out the odd prayer, rain er Snow dance and use a few spoon bending concentration tactics to try to will it to snow there. I'm sure you understand.

My sister ran her rsx into a small pond over the summer. There may or may not have been a roadway there, that is still under speculation. This resulted in the k20 consuming approximately a liter of h2o. It didn't hydrolock, but somehow all the swamp juice ended up in the oil pan. Nummers. The car still works for some unholy reason. The conclusion I came to is its posessed and can't be killed.

I have a cold air intake as well but I just try to avoid big puddles or slow down when going through.

I wish it would snow. I have snow tires and went down to the Okanagan and had a blast driving!
