Tragically Hip

No doubt like many other Canucks here, I've always been such a HUGE fan of the Hip. I've been listening a lot more of their older stuff lately and it really brings back lots of memories. It's hard to believe it's been almost 24 years since their first self titled album. Crazy how time flies. While I love all of their music, I absolutely think their early stuff was incredible!!

Anyways, I just thought it was crazy that they've been around this long already as it seems just like yesterday I was listening to their "new" stuff.....New Orleans is Sinking, Blow at high dough, etc.

I haven't been able to get enough of "Wheat Kings" lately. I am not even sure how many times I have seen them live at least 4 or 5. One of the craziest nights of my life was hip concert I was going to collage in Lethbridge at the time and a bunch of us went up to Calgary to the hip concert it ended up being pretty wild.
My buddy that lives in southern Georgia went to see them in small club in Atlanta a couple years ago he said it was awesome seeing them in a small venue.

That almost calls for a ban!

They've really been one of my favourite bands over the years. Their early stuff was just awesome and brings back a lot of memories for me. I've seen them 8 times in concert, with the most recent last summer in Boston at the House of Blues. The first time I saw them was my first year University at UNBSJ for frosh week. It's really crazy quickly time goes by.

+1 for 4dgs

Though I've never been a fan, I have seen them in concert. Front row seats, in fact and my attached photo clearly shows. Saw them in the house of grains.

That's right, th fans. Worship me.

When my Dad lived in Vancouver (Nanaimo actually), he made me listen to these guys when I went to visit him. Not bad for a bunch of Canadians

Some of you boys need to drop the crack pipe. I've pretty much always got a Hip CD in the changer.
