Cost of window tinting

Can anyone tell me what the average price to tint an entire sedan should be? I hear our US members talking about $100 tints. The least expensive I can find locally is around $300. Does this seem expensive or is this the going rate for a good quality tint in our neck of the woods.......

Around Halifax $250 is the typical price and only one place that does tint.

What neck of the woods are you in?

I think you would generally pay $200 to $300 in your area. Make sure they do under the rear brake light. I had one shop in Guelph that didn't and they had to redo the back window.

Would depend on a coupe or sedan or SUV. I got a quote for 250 taxes in at apple auto glass a little while back. Tint King is usually pretty reasonable as well and they back their work for lifetime. If you have a coupe, there's no way I'd be paying 300 bucks, thats way too much!

Thanks guys and thanks for the heads up about the brake light though right now, I'd like to tear that light right out. Stopped working for me right after I bought it. I have yet to see a 1st gen sedan with a working 3rd brake light.

It also depends on which tint material is quoted.
There is a big difference between basic tints & ceramic tints.

I'm sure the ultra can be arranged, I have had the basic solarguard and it has looked great so far. I have done a few cars already.
