alarm going off randomly

hey i have a weird one here. So since 2 days ago i have noticed that the alarm randomly triggers. Has anyone in calgary (freezing cold weather) been getting this at all recently. And the only reason Im talking about the weather is because i have had the car for almost a year and a half and i have never had this problem before. Last 2 nights i had left the car outside during which we got a somewhat blizzard, and now this problem came up.

thanks in advance

ppl on the site were writing about hood pin sensors, but im not to sure what they mean. They were also saying to open the hood and keep it open to reset the alarm i dunno really how this works but the cars in the garage right now with the hood opened. so far the alarms hasn't tripped in the last 4 hours or so
so we will see how it does if it keeps doing it then extended warranty better be getting used at the dealership lol

Maybe the shock sensor is up too high. I have a Compustar and I had to turn my shock sensor down.

I'm guessing this is your factory alarm?, if is not your factory alarm maybe one of the lights inside the cabin has been left on, and you haven't noticed it yet, or like others have suggested the shock sensor has been left to high, and needs to lower the sensitivity a bit, cause that wind in the past few days rocks cars back and forth depending in the area you are located.
