225/45/18 all around for winters?

Any of you guys put 225/45/18 all around for winters?
Some tire store recommend 225, some said I should stick with 245 at the back (because of the traction control mite be wrong).

Any thought?

you can go with 225 just fine. I have 225 all around for winters

but your better to go with 17s rather than 18s since the price drops a lot and you get more options

i did have the same issue(staggered or all around same) beginning of winter but after even calling infiniti dealers, i end up buying 225-55-17s , traction is almost same as my previous winters, no issues. actually the size is way much better as the previous oem winter set up forces me to touch the bottom of the car when i try to get out of my steep garage exit.

my 0.02

most 17's won't work if your anchors are brembos.

All 17's should fit brembo... Some need spacers though. I sold a set of 17" winters to a brembo G.

I'm running 225/50/18 and it's fine.

Im running the exact same setup, 225/45/18 allround on yokahama IG20..its a decent setup. I live in Edmonton and we had that huge snow storm a couple weeks ago.. that was the only time I got stuck because there was soooo much damn snow but other than that it was fine.

You guys aren't having and VDC/ABS issues running 225/45/18 all around?

According to the Miata tire size calculator that's roughly a 2.5% difference between the front and rear.
