Torn under carriage tray
Torn under carriage tray
So I found that my under carriage for my 04X is dragging along. Looks torn at the rear. Does anyone have any idea what these go for and where is the cheapest please to get a replacement one?
Thanks,
Thanks,
Personally I would not take it off...
Hopefully you can find one at an auto wrecker; otherwise, I do think they are pretty pricey. Your best bet would be probably to order from US into canada from infiniti parts online or similiar.
Also, depends on how damaged it is, maybe you can compromise with zip ties by drilling a few holes and re-attaching it somehow? Just an idea... possibly a temp one while you get a new cover.
The cover is super flimsy; not the best piece of engineering that's for sure.

user " tollboothwilly" makes aluminum ones.
I don't know if he's making one for x sedan tho, you might wanna ask him.

I am low enough to scrape and tear it so I rather have something there protecting the bottom of the car. I asked around and a new OEM one is at least $150 so the zpeed one doesn't look too bad for the price. Thanks guys!
Put the zspeed black (powder coated) aluminum one on last week - the fit was great and no more flapping/chattering from the old one.
Only regret was I wish I had either replaced it or at least checked it BEFORE it started to loosen/tear. One screw had sheared off, and one of the places where it attaches to plastic near the front bumper had ripped. Not to mention scaring the crap out of me the first time it started flapping.

I will be listing the zspeed aluminum undertray from my car shortly.
Selling the vehicle and not inlcuding the tray in the price.
Where you interested? Still in great shape. On the car for 4 months, comes with all hardware.
It fits the X models.
