Nice, so did you find any drastic changes or were the shim changes just very minor.

I changed 3 exhaust & one intake.
The shims are sized in increments of .004mm
I adjusted all three, one step.

The exhaust are the most critical because the only chance they have to cool is when they are seated.
The last thing you want is to have them shimmed too tight because it minimizes seat contact time.

Looks like fun Ian. The top end of that mill looks remarkably similar to the old S38B36 yet strikingly different. (Cleaner for a start...)

It sure was!
It's a great feeling to work your way through something like this, then firing her up & listen to her purrrrrrr.

The basis of the two I6 engines really are are very similar.

Good Job bud.....I wouldn't have the ***** to open up my motor even if its just the valve cover, the max I ever did with the old G was installing the plenum and Collin helped me on that mod.

Great job Ian. The innards certainly look nice and clean too.

Would like to have the guts to tackle this one myself for the Imola M.

It's realy not that difficult, you just need to prepare ahead & go step by step.
It takes roughly 4 hrs

Good to know. I may be contacting you about this one if I can get clear of all this other stuff going on.

May soon have some good news on the home front.

Time for an update.....

It's been a real busy couple of weeks with the car.
Here are a few of the recent updates.

Made up some stands for doing my alignment.

Got my KW Clubsports & Stoptech BBK installed

And, my headlights.
Blacked out; cleared signals; & LED halos.
