HAHAHHAH...I meet every Thursday with a group of Japenese car enthusiasts ( WRX/STI, Honda S2000, Nissan, Evo ) all of whom are lets say not the " ricer crowd " The one guy had a 06 G which had the consumption issue. He now has a 2011 STI which is undergoing --a few changes-- Hes been the biggest push about modding my car, but understands that fun costs and im not willing to go there...Still, its nice to be able to get information and experince from them....Been divorced once---im too old to go through that again over the car..

At least there's a brick wall you'll hit. Power isn't cheaply extracted from the VQ.

How much was the plenum spacer Tim? I pick my car up today, can't wait to see how the black roof looks! On a side note, there's 19 inch G37 wheels for sale on craigslist for $1000. Very tempting.

I havent seen the bill as of yet...But Ricks quote was $ 338 for splash guards and spacer shipped...Quote for splash gaurds $ 170...Cant even find them here and then only front ones from Vancouver ( 2 weeks from Japan ) and not at all from the North shore dealer....So its $ 168 for the spacer doing the old math..Im excited to see the new roof color. You had the lower rear done too didnt you? The wheels are tempting...My friend Doug can always paint then whatever color youd like as well...hummmmm!!!! A really nice NSX came out Thursday. Black with turbo....Nice car...Hope you can make it out next week, if not id like to see you car...cheers!

I'll try and come out this thursday, I'll shoot you a pm if I do. I wouldn't mind swinging by your buddies body shop with you one day, would love to get a price quote on getting my side mirrors painted and one of my fenders cause its got a nasty paint chip on it. I'm digging the new roof, its a fairly cheap cosmetic mod that really changes the look of our cars.

See if you can work something out with Doug for the g-boys. I suspect all of us will be bringing him work soon judging by what phu is saying.

I dropped off the new splash guards at my buddys shop for painting..(IP) as only the front ones come painted.....AND ---DA-DA---. had my plenum spacer installed today...I do notice a little deeper growl, a little better mid range tourqe and smoother on the highway....As i said i noticed....or am i just wishfully thinking?????? The shop must have diconnected the battery for the install because the clock and my radio settings were gone. Im guesssing thats as easy ecu reset. Im interested in your point of view with the install or am i just imagining better performance....Thanks.
