Red or black. Yeah. Seriously. Of all the crap I've had to decide on with this Fi build I'm hung on something as esoteric as the colour of my rad hoses.

On one hand I think I should stick the black course- because when clean, nothing looks better. also, if I jump on the carbon fiber train it makes the engine comp look totally disgusting.

On the other I think red would add a nice accent to the engine bay that would look sharp as all get out alongside all the polished covers. (Linda Barker gtfo of my head!!!) And it's a bit more of a departure from stock.

If I were a little less iq ineffective I might just get both sets and swap them out whenever i got bored.

So which way would you guys go? Match your engine bay / car Colour, go with something totally off track or stick with black?

Whatever Dustin has, LOL!! Depends a little on what you intend to do in the rest of the bay. Black engine cover or none, polished plenum, red cover? I think in most cases black will look best. To pull off red, you'd have to use it sparingly elsewhere IMO.

 

Color matching is for teenagers. Do black. Or do something like neon purple. Or urban camo. Throw everyone for a loop.

 

Yeah it's tough. But come up with YOUR OWN THEME and do what you want. . I am thinking of changing a few thinks up.

I don't recall what Dustin has but ive been leaning towards red... Not sure I could stomach purple but I get the idea. I guess it's just 3 hoses so no matter what a guy goes with it won't be a huge deal.

In all honesty red or black would look fine.
