Another Milestone Thread

Well i tried to delay this date again and again but finally it happened. my 2003 g35 coupe 5at finally reached 100,000kms. i caught the picture at a light. i got this car back in 2008 when it was 65,000K

for 3 years, i have been having a blast with this car. always reliable (knock on wood ) good mileage in long distance drive(i got 750km once with 3/4 tank). i realized now that it worths around 15-17k, i decided to keep it until it collapses or i have cash to get a better.

i guess for now i will wait to see what it can cause me in terms of maintenance.

Congrats.
Mustafa your coupe should run great for quite a bit longer, since you do take good care of it.

Thank you,

I am trying my best, i think i was one of the few 2003 coupe with less than 100K , im sure till it hits 150-160k I ll be fine, now i start driving work which is 20km a day , still not that much.

it's still like the first day i got my car, i get excited driving my car.

^1 i hear you, seriously to get a car in the same segment, newer is at least 25-30k , plus the new age electronics is giving so much problems with these cars, it scares me sometimes. i still get few looks time to time and mine doesn't look like a 2003 at all. For now i'll hold on to mine.

I just hit 150k lastnight on my 04 6MT, and its still pulling strong. Time to replace the belts. Other then maybe the odd noise now and then. The car is still strong as when i first got it.

Congrats, you should get a lot more mileage out of her.

Many of us are old enough to remember when our new vehicle instrument clusters didn't have KM's on them. It's interesting how our way of thinking has changed since the implementation of the metric system.
For example, we might have said a car was getting up there when it hit 150-200k MILES. Now the engines are much better and more refined and we (some) tend to say they are well used at 150k km (93,000mi).
My good friend owns a 94 Maxima with 275k km and it still runs very well...the lower body is a different story.

Nice thing about these cars is they haven't changed much externally. I look at an 03 that's taken care of and I can't tell it from an 06 that's taken care of... or an 07 for that matter.

Congrats on the milestone! Keep on... uh.. car-ing.

Dont sweat it man! Im at 163,000 km and apart from regular maintenance (you prob gotta change your plugs soon) I really dont have much to complain about. Car runs great! I think im 2 years from looking into my next car, prob get the 2014 C-Class Benz when it first comes out (new design).
