Hey guys,

Started getting a rattling noise (sounds like a cage of some sort shaking) typically at lower RPMs from gears 1-4. I'm thinking it's my throw out bearing but am worried that there is something wrong with my tranny. Any ideas?

 

oem fly wheel? you having any problems shifting from 1-4? does the sound go away when the press down on the clutch at idle?

 

I don't think the noise happens at idle, typically when loaded, its pretty loud when I accelerate then release the gas pedal suddenly.

I don't have any problems shifting...yet lol. Maybe its time for a new clutch kit, I just hope its not a tranny issue (I dont suspect it is).

 

hmmm, i dont think it's your throwout bearing if you cant hear it at idle

 

Just purchased a clutch and flywheel combo from exedy/F1 as an OE replacement from gripforce, hopefully it makes it before something fails.
