Down hill in a hurry...

My car is shitting the bed day after day it seems. 140k now, but out of the blue everything is falling apart.

In the past month'ish:

-Front right sway bar end link starts making noise - Replace them.
-Knock sound over uneven surfaces on the left front - Upper strut mount replaced.
-Tpms light lights and beeps while in traffic. Hasn't gone out since.
- Similar noise comes back a week later, all seems tight, so i get some oem comp rod bushings. Start install and realize the joint has play. - Replace compression rod. *I have a pair of oem bushings if anyone needs them*
- Blow a tire on the hwy a few mornings ago - Replace rear tires.
- ABS starts activating at approx 15-20 kph under moderate to heavy braking. We'll see i guess. Suspect wheel speed sensor could have been hit during comp rod install or 245/45 to 245/40 tire replacement is causing it. Reset ECU so far, no change.
-Exhaust has sprung a leak around Y pipe. - After holidays...

I certainly hope i'm good for a bit now and the ABS issue doesn't take much to rectify. I have no patience for nickle and diming. I'm happy to once over the car and replace anything thats suspect because i do I love the car, but i'll replace it in a heart beat if it continues. Wish me luck!

It seems like a slippery slope sometimes when things start to go.

Good luck. Ditto on the slippery slope thing. I've kept a couple of cars too long years ago.

Well, 140K miles is getting up there. Any car over 100K is going to nickle and dime you here and there. GL.

^ I'm thinking that's kilometers. Mine's just over 130, this doesn't portend well. But then I don't race mine on Friday nights, LOL! Hope you have the problems licked for now, Keith.
