My first G35

My first G35
Hi All, I'm brand new to the forum.
A buddy told me this was an excellent source of info about G35s
I'm looking to buy the following:
2007 G35S with a 6 MT
46,000+ kms
Here is the link.
http://www.autoparkburlington.com/2/...sport-rwd.html
Car has 3 accident claims reported.
Two were around $1,200
One was for Physical/Hail around $5,000 (looking at the car every body panel looked fine)
Little paint wear on the driver armrest where the buttons were and on the steering wheel on the left side near the radio buttons.
Also you can see in the pics the seat cushion on the driver's seat is different than the passenger seat. Is this one of the differences between the 14 way and 8 way power seats?
Also the dealership offered me an extended warranty for around $1,500, covers electronics etc. Told me it could pay for itself with one claim.
Appreciate any feedback or comments.
Never drove a car like this before, was very smooth on the highway and drove very nice.
I think I might be in love.

I'd offer them 20k out the door, warranty included....after I had a few different mechanics check it out. BTW the driver seat always has that "crotch support" area that isn't on the passenger seat. It's the same on the Zs too. Good luck, and welcome to the forum...it is the best source I've found. there are some good people here.

Are the comments above based mostly on the price of the car which seems low?
What issues could I expect?
What are your thoughts on these extended warranties?
I think AutoPark like JP Motors is a high volume dealer and their prices always seem a little lower to me.
Thanks for the feedback.

The above comments are based mostly on the fact that it has 3 warranty claims. Unless you know the previous owner and know exactly what happened.. stay away from accident cars... more than likely they will be more expensive down the road.
You can expect anything really... you really have 2 claims worth 1500 ea.. who knows what else happened to the car and wasn't reported.
Personally imo, extended warranties from used car dealers are bs.. they like to screw you over and give you lots of excuses before agreeing to do something. If you want extended go get one from Infiniti itself.
AutoPark sells cars with accidents. That's why they're low. I swear when I bought my car 2 years ago, I was searching around places like these. I found 3 G35s... all with 1500, 3000, and 15000 accident repairs respectively... I gave in and bought a CPO from Infiniti.
The wear and tear on the interior is a bumper to bumper warranty fix. If the car still has bumper to bumper, i recommend going to infiniti to get that fixed.

I'm going to take it to my mechanic, he specializes in imports and is honest.
I trust him because when I had a Jetta he always checked for recalls and sent me to the dealer, one time he could have replaced a catylitic (sp) converter and charged me but he deferred me to the dealer for a free replacement.

I agree with what the guys are saying...stay away from accident cars and the price isn't exactly great either.

Would a car with 46km have bumper to bumper still? Does it depend on kms or length of time?

I think what David means is - how long since the date it was first sold and driven off the lot by its first owner? It may have been sold in early 2006 which means it could be 5 years old...for the sake of the warranty.
