how do you adjust the delayed shutoff with auto headlights ?

how do you adjust the delayed shutoff with auto headlights ?

did a search and found complaints but no info

2003 coupe 6MT prem package

i want to shorten the amout of time it takes to shut them off

I thought the headlights stay on as long as it's dark

Hopefully they shut off when you shut off the car

The auto function turns them on when it's dark enough and turns them off after a number of seconds once you shut off the car and close the door.
It takes forever and ive heard that the delay is user adjustable but the info evades me
