Eh guys. Did my search and looked in the sticky of common subjects and I haven't noticed anyone pipe up about detailing in the Van area... not even on the island. I've been over in the car care section being mesmorized by some of the new compounds and what they can accomplish on our soft paint... Sadly, you put any of that stuff in my hands and leave me with my car for a weekend and I'd have the thing transformed into a dead hunk of meat that would make a hyena kill itself.
Anyway- just trying to drum some attention to the matter and maybe some new forum members know of a great shop or do that kind of work and they could go over to the registry there and add their name.
Worth a shot, anyway.

Well I have the hunt on over in Niclub.ca as well and the boys over there are telling me really good things about Project Detail- it's one of the members over there. The guy's name in particular in Brendan... here is their website:
Project Detail
I haven't talked to them yet but the guys over at niclub are awesome and wouldn't lead one of their own astray. Worth a look...
Which Infiniti did you deal with- while we're on it? Sounds like Regency's service department is a decent but I'm hearing bad things about everyone else's- no idea about their detailers. Then again, getting a dealership to do your detail work would be like using a monkey as a sperm donor. Evidently your disatisfaction is further evidence of this.

I bought a car from The Urban Garage a number of years ago and they had it detailed and polished before I shipped it by rail to Calgary. The car looked amazing considering it was 10 years old ('91 M5, black). Perhaps they can suggest a good shop now.

That Project Detail looks pretty good. I'll probably have mine done in the spring with them.
