A lot of those cars posted aren't really all that low... Most of the Zs are low, the EG and the S2K are low but everything else is pretty mild..

Good point. And the only thing in this thread worth reading. However, the difference is those 60's muscle cars are timeless. This whole poke/stretch/slam stuff... not so much.

BTW, those rims are sick!

Ive spent a pile of time on the track and instructing performance driving...
do these combos hold up in the corners ?
i almost lost an Audi in corner 1 at Mosport because the outside rear tire pealed of the rim
and it was blamed on that type of combo
I'm not trashing here... to each their own.. i kinda like it too but don't want to compromise the cornering

No real surprise that would happen under high stress - it's a matter of leverage.
