Condo Garage Parking lot Ramp
Condo Garage Parking lot Ramp
Anyone here have any past experiences with their buildings garage parking lot ramp, mainly the incline and their G? First time living in a condo so no idea what my options are.
Long store short, a month ago the ramp was under construction and I couldn't get my car out with out scraping like a ****. I ended up parking my car for the two weeks across the street in a different building.
Then they finished the job but now it still scraps. Previously it did not scrape one bit.
I know there is damage as a result of the initial construction and now I'm worrying every time I go in and out.
Basically, can I invoice the property management company for the initial damage and maybe make a new claim of some sort for potential future damages.

I got a stock g35c.
The bottom of the front bumper was already scraped up (more so now), but the real damage happened to one of the mid section brackets underneath my car.
Based on the responses I guess I am sol.

Mid section brackets? My car scrapes on what appears to be flat ground and I am still yet to damage anything vital.
It's always worth a try so talk to them about it and see if they can repave it for a smoother transition before it does anymore damage to your car. Make it clear that it is not lower and that other patrons with sport styled cars are going to have the same issue. Until then, just try and go at it on a really aggressive angle so the bumper doesn't touch.

You may be able to find a loophole somewhere and say that there is no sign stating a rough transition.

Yeah the transition is brutal - it has to get over a small walk way, which is basically like one giant steep on both sides speed-bump. I'll take a pic to show how bad it actually is.
There are some vette's and porsches in the garage too, no idea how they do it.
