ok, so I've searched for this information and read MANY threads but there is a bunch of info that is "unsure"... so I'll simply ask again here in the Canadian thread.

I have a 2008 G35 with daytime running lights but I HATE the fact that they look dull and have a yellow hue. What is the easiest / cheapest way to solve this issue?

Can I just change the DRL bulbs? Has anyone successfully done this?

Yes all i did was change the DRL. Could change it to yellow, white, whatever colour intrigues you

 

I run silverstars as DRL.
Not as white as HID but they don't look too bad.

 

I changed bulbs on a previous car and I don't even think they lasted a year before burning out. Does the G have the same issue? What lights are people using with what success?

 

It's funny a few days after I posted this and passenger side bulb died

Since it's a pain in the *** to change the bulb, I went back to OEM. If it was easier to change, I'd run them all the time.
