Hey guys, anyone know of any good shops to get maintenance or work done on the car in the ottawa area besides the dealerships?

I take my car to Redshaw Auto. (25 Hawthorne Ave).

I get all my work done there. I've been going there for about 15 years now.

The specialize in MG's but obviously can do work on any cars.

They've done the following things for me and I havent had any issues:

lowering springs

shocks

struts

exhaust

oil changes etc

Replace my entire AC (not from my G)

I'm sure there are lots of places you can go, but this is where I go and have no complaints over the years.

 

What are you looking to get done?

 

just referring to general maintenance, and say for example if something is wrong with the car, where would you go to fix it? other then the dealership.

 

east south or west end of town?

 

east end of town, but i'd be willing to go out to the west end, not that long of a drive

right now, my trunk doesnt open up, my gas tank lock is also broken, dealership would obviously charge a lot for these things so i wanted to see where you guys go for that kinda stuff, bigger problems that normally a dealership would handle

Go to Grand Tech Auto that's the only place I let touch my car now.

 

what have you gotten done there?

 

They installed my camber kit front and rear, springs, and struts. I'll be installing my exhaust there too. They do everything from a simple oil change to more complicated jobs.
