I was thinking the exact same thing, check with Alan for his input since he did a similar switch a few years ago.

Your sedan is one of my favorite 1st Gen sedans Faisal.

Thanks for the heads up Ian, I will definitely look him up if/when the time comes to buy this thing.

After reading all the kind words in this thread it's really put me on the fence about the whole thing. I will sleep on this for a few days and make some phone calls. Maybe I can rekindle my interest to do the all out N/A build that I had planned this summer with the G.

As for the Genesis sedan, it goes against just about every trait that I look for in a car lol.

some complaints I've heard is not about the power... but more about the build quality of the interior. I can't say I've seen it in person, but make sure to pay attention to it.

Buy a gen coupe a year or two old, they lose 50% of their value in the first two years . I know a couple local guys bought them they couldn't even give the Gen away when they tried to sell it.

Well, I just handed over my G to Oakville Hyundai. In exchange I got a 2013 Genesis 2.0t R-spec. Pics to follow!

I don't care how nice the car is, I would never drive a rip-off Honda.

It's all still sinking in guys. I let the G go with all the mods still on it, the sales manager seemed to like it and wanted everything to stay on the car. I even showed him how the UpRev worked with changing maps.

Here's some pics of the new ride:

Looks good Faisal.
I'm betting you have a bunch of mods lined up for it already.

Nice-looking car, man. Wonder who'll end up with your G?
