New Member - 2007 Coupe BO A/T

Hello hello,

I've been lurking for a few months and finally picked up a coupe last night! Nice to finally join up on here with fellow owners.

This car just feels like a dream at the moment. Managed to get it off an older gentleman who barely drove it (had only 38000kms on it!).

Took a quick picture last night but more pics will follow soon! Yes, yes, I realize I need to clean it up a bit but that's what the long weekend's for!

It's all stock at the moment and probably will keep it that way for now. I'm in Toronto/Mississauga by the way.

Famous last words, LOL! Nice score on the low-mileage sport coupe.

Welcome maniii, it's pretty quiet on the site right now but there's lots of good info and help regarding our cars.

I exactly know how you felt Maniii. I own same as yours except mine has 3x your mileage and tinted windows. Do you mind sharing $$$ you paid for it?

As Swivel said, +1 for the mileage you got. Have fun driving it (not much in the winter I guess).

wow, 38000km is really low for a G35!

did you end up putting on your winters yet Maniii? what winter set up are you going with? (i remmeber from your other post).

as for the car, you can always add 30-35% tint to it to make it look classy!

Yes once that mod process begins it's a slippery slope. One minute you're tinting your windows and the next you're getting your motor rebuilt.

You've got a great network of guys out in that area too- but like swivel said a lot of the original network of g35 guys from a few years ago across Canada have moved on to other platforms or have moved past the forums making way for the next wave of enthusiasts.

Use the search feature- but don't ever be afraid to come in here to talk to folks about what you're learning and ask questions. I was very fortunate to have this community as a resource.

Thanks ITNKICN. I've been on here since I got the car (mostly just reading) and you're right, it's an invaluable resource for our cars.

G35DG - I agree, a 30-35% tint would look nice. I don't like tints that are too dark to see inside at all. Will probably be doing them in the spring when I can afford a nicer ceramic tint job.

As for my winter setup- I got lucky, the guy threw in his winter wheels (and rims!) with the car. They're 17" Motegi racing wheels and I've got near brand new Goodyear eagle ultra grip's on them. Car actually looks surprisingly decent for a winter setup. Already got em on as I had a work day off to get it all done. Weathers been pretty mild thus far so can't really guage how good the goodyears are just yet.

I'll post more pics of the car (winter setup too) soon. Realize I just have the one pic up at the moment.
