2004 G35 Limp Mode

I was rerouting some wires in my engine bay when i decided to delete my hood pin switch, i cut the wire leading to the sensor and grounded the wire, since then my car has been stuck in limp mode and i have already reset my ECU 3 times with no luck, if someone could confirm if the car needs the hood pin switch that would be great.

It's part of the anti-theft system.

Scan for codes, if you're in limp mode there's a code.

Also, by grounding that pin out the car thinks the hood is OPENED I think, according to the FSM diagram.
