On another note Karen and I got to go for a spin today in Colin's M45 Sport and to see some of the tech features in the car today. All I can say is WOW , definitely is one beautiful ride. After Colin left the house, my wife and I had our M Brochure out going through our M35X dream list . Maybe in a year or two. We can always dream and it was great seeing you C.
Wayne
Ian is teasing us -- now what could he have up his sleeve (and under his hood)? Something tantalizing I'll bet. I look forward to the 'unveiling', Ian.
I haven't even put in my Silver Bulbs yet. Been too lazy. At least I have 700 clicks on her now after my visit to Wayne and Karen's today.

Great visit Wayne...and a fun supper. Next time you and Karen will have to take a longer M-ride and play with more of the toys. ONce you get into the Navi, and the Stereo, they're awesome.
Not much snow left over from our surprise storm last weekend, (until I got to KW and Cambridge).

Bill - I look forward to our next meet soon. By then I should have a couple more coats of Zaino on the M. The P/C works slick. I like it mucho.

Wes, not sure when we can meet up with Jerry, but hoping it's this month sometime. If not, we'll have something going on somewhere else soon. Maybe D&B's or Square One. I'm open to suggestions. You guys know the places....

MattAu, lol, yeh I've thought about a change, but I've become attached to 'GSM' now and am known by it. At least I'm back in a Sedan now and very happy to be. See you at the next meet.

C.

inTgr8r, how much are you getting the kit for and from where? I remember that the front bumper alone used to be over $1K US, I take it that the price has gone down?

On another note, I am having a heck of a time deciding on rims, trying to find a nice wheel with, the proper size, offset and that are readily available is becoming such a pain. Also I can't decide if I want to go with 18" or 19". I've test driven a Z with the stock 18's and the ride wasn't harsh but a bit bouncy on bumpy roads, 19's would look so much more aggresive but I am concerned with the harsness of 40 or 35 series profile tire. I was hoping to check out the other rides at the meet but then it got postponed , anyone in the Scarborough / Markham area care to take me out for a spin in their G with 19's?

Recent prices I had for the bumper were:
Everything G35 - $1125 +shipping $???
Infiniti-parts - $1179 reduced to $999 +shipping @ $300

As a G35Driver member, Justin at Everything G35 cut me a deal for $1050 shipping included.

I'm not going with the full kit.
I already have my lower valances painted &
I really don't like the look of the rear valance in the full kit.

I should have my 18"s on next week, if you're around Thornhill through the day, you can check them out.
I'll be running 245/40/18 tires.
otherwise the meet should be rescheduled soon, but not sure if any of the local sedans are running 19s

Woohoo, I was right!! Do I get a prize?? j/k Wait, there's more? Man I'm jealous.....

I cannot wait to see this kit on your car, it's going to look amazing!

Bigwilly, I don't have my 19s on my car yet, I'm getting the tires mounted on Monday, so I'll let you know once I have them on. They are 19 x 8.5 in the front and 19 x 9.5 in the back.

Bigwilly, I have 19" on my '05 coupe. IT'S BUMPY! However, that's to be expected, and coming from a Jaguar S-Type with 16" all season rubber, I was spoiled. I think 18" will probably be a good compromise, but I had no choice since I wanted the sport suspension and most importantly, the VLSD. I test drove 17" coupe and they were noticeably softer and smoother.

PDT, you have the sedan right what wheels did you get, and are you lowered?

I was originally looking at volks but there is a 2 - 3 month wait. Then I was looking at the RH J5 Pro's but I am not sure if there is proper offset for a staggered setup for the sedan, I am awaiting to hear back from bigh.

Bigwilly, yes I have a sedan and I'm not lowered as of yet, going to get them installed soon.

I got my rims from Harry (bigh). They are HPD wheels and the Fronts are 19 x 8.5 offset +42; Rears are 19 x 9.5 offset +40

Here's a link on g35.ca where I posted some pics of them http://www.g35.ca/board/index.php?ac...=post&id=20845

PDT, those look sweet. Reminds me of the Volk SF Winnings that I wanted (stupid 3 month wait). You gotta post more pics of them mounted on the car man.

I've got a 19x9, 19x10 RH J8 setup with eibach springs - ride is certainly a little harsher than it was with the 17" snows or 18" regular rims but rims look amazing on the car.

If anyone wants to get a mini-meet going this weekend at Square One I'd be in - the rest of the month looks pretty crummy for me and I don't think I'd be able to make another date. So far Sunday's weather looks amazing - 17 degrees and sunny. Anyone up for it?
