Paint Protection

Hey G35 owners,

I recently bought a silver 2003 G coupe, which was only summer driven. I would like to apply some form of paint protection to the vehicle as soon as possible. Detailing/rust proofing companies such as Ziebart and Krown offer paint protection solutions in which their applied compound supposedly lasts up to 10 years (that's what they advertise, but I highly doubt that it will last even half as long). Does anyone have any prior experience with using either of these companies' paint protection products? If so, please comment.

After reading many threads regarding exterior detailing, it is quite obvious that Zaino is a highly recommended product. However, does anyone know if Zaino will outperform the products offered by Ziebart or Krown? Thanks Guys!

Paint protection is usually an auto wax. IT may be a 'special' wax but I've been told its basically a wax.
