Do you mean you were running too cool?Thermostat issues??
Or just not at operating temp when you took the sample.

Wow, There's a good example of what short distance driving will do to the oil.
I'm amazed that just moving the car would have that effect.
I can see how bad consistent short trips would be.

LOL ....sorry. I meant that the engine was not at operating temp when I changed the oil. I just moved the car quickly in the garage and then changed the oil. Next time I'll either let the car sit overnight in a position that I can change the oil or run it till hot and then change the oil.
FWIW..
I have see others recommend the hot method.
They contend that you get a better flush that way,
with the solids more in suspension rather than lying cold on
the bottom of the oil pan
