Anyone here planning on getting the APS TT kit? I have ordered mine and should have it installed by late May. I'm really itching...

How much did you pay?

Installing APS TT is hard, if you can do it yourself then you'r a very skilled person!!

But, how are you going to tune the car. You need APS dealer to do that for you.

 

The whole system is $7,115usd for the G35, so around $9,000cdn. I should get it here around mid-May, it's ordered already. Installing it isn't that hard at all. It can be easily done with the proper tools and some patience. I will even do it in my own garage (no lift). I've read throught the instruction manual about 5 times already and I also have the Service Manual from Infiniti. I'm actually looking forward to doing this (and I'm not a mechanics)...

I basically only have the Crawford Plenum right now, which I will keep after the install of the TT kit. The APS TT kit comes pretuned out-of-the-box, so there shouln't be any need to tune with an almost stock car. However, I also have boost, EGT and Wideband 02 devices which will let me monitor what the engine is doing and how it's responding to boost. There are Unichip tuners in Toronto and Montréal that can tune the car if need be, you don't have to go through an APS authorized dealer. I am having an APS dealer load the 93 octane fuel and timing maps on the Unichip before install.
