Hi Guys, Some good news for 05 G35 owners, (with the new 298 hp engine) the APS intercooled twin turbo system has been installed and tested in CA and the power and torque results were very impressive on 91 octane fuel - 420 WHP and it made this Horsepower easily.

APS's head tech spent the entire week at Brainstorm Performance and finished the APS twin turbo conversion on the 05 G35 Yesterday - many thanks to Brainstorm Performance who made their facility and the new 05 G35 coupe available to APS for testing purposes.

The guys from Brainstorm will be pleased to demonstrate the awesome performance of the APS TT equipped G35 coupe to potential clients - for the guys in CA give Brainstorm Performance a call on 310 313 0088 to organise a demo ride, from what I'm told you will be very impressed with the smooth power delivery from the new G35 TT coupe.

does APS plan on releasing a 93 octane map? Or does that have to be obtained by tuan @ grd?

Wow nice numbers! So what it is that, about 500hp at the crank? Even more temptation to max out a credit card...

 

There will be a 93 octane tuning map for the 05 model G35 in the future - now that APS as developed the base map for 91 octame it will be easier for APS dealers (GRD or Brainstorm, etc, etc) to futher develop the tuning map to suit 93 octane fuel and even higher power.

I don't have any pics of the 05 G35 APS twin turbo system install though the car is at Brainstrom Performance in LA if you'd like to see/feel the APS twin turbo install and performance.

The 05 G35 (298 factory HP engine) was completely stock (in fact it was brand new with zero miles on the car) other than the APS twin turbo system and true dual exhaust system.

I calculated about 494.12 hp... 420rwhp/0.85=494.12 Not bad at all!

 

Stock internals? What was the torque number? Are they playing on a vid for those of us out side of Santa Monica, CA?

 

Yeah with stock internals (the G35 was brand new with only 100 miles on the engine) and I'm waiting on a power/torque graph to be emailed to me, whan I have the graph I will post it for you guys. .

Sorry no vid available, the G35 in LA and where in Oz, this makes doing a video difficult at the moment. We do have a 03 model G35 coupe in Oz so I will try to organise a small vid over the next week or two.
