One thing I haven't seen addressed here is cost. Maybe I'm breaking some kind of unspoken rule by asking, but how much would this setup cost? For example, assume I delivered a brand-spanking-new 05 6MT, bone stock. How much would I be out of pocket for the parts, labor, and tuning costs for the exact same results ( you mentioned the TT kit and a dual exhaust setup )?

TT kit $7500
labor $2500
Gauges, exhaust, etc. $2500

Your looking about about $12-$13K installed for everything.

Would this type of setup be emissions legal? If not, what would it take to make it emissions legal and at what cost (price and performance hit)?
