Chico, I saw the other post first but came here too to say- we're glad you're not more seriously hurt and to wish you the best with recovery and replacement of the G.

Thanks RBULL, I appreciate the kind words. I will be OK in a few days I hope. I'm actually thinking of replacing my G with an '05, probably in Brilliant Silver and get the same wheels on.

I'll keep you posted. Thanks again.

Hey, no problem. I can't really imagine the feeling of being hurt in that kind of accident and your pride and joy being damaged too.
Good luck with being fixed up properly with your insurance and being able to make the move to an '05. Maybe we'll see you with it when I get to Toronto in another month and get together for a mini meet at LMC or somewhere else.

Holy S*** Chico,
I'm glad that you ended up ok. Sorry that it had to happen to someone that takes so much pride in their car.
All that really matters is that you are safe and your family has peace of mind that you were not seriously hurt.
Its kind of ironic that shortly after another local meet, one of our group had their vehicle totalled. The same thing happened last year( I think I'm remembering the correct date).
All the best to you in your recovery.

Glad to see you are okay...my stomach turned when i saw the pic...some advice to you as a chiropractor...get medical attention and have your doctor document your injuries, everything will be covered by insurance and will aid in your defense if you decid to take legal action....believe it or not, the fact that he was going that fast decreased your injuries since the car takes most of the impact....trust me i took a whole seminar or it! god bless physics!

the car can be replaced, you cant...

Thanks for the advice. I already went to the hospital and referred me to a specialist. I feel pain on my neck and left arm. I guess because I was holding the steering wheel at the moment of impact.

The impact was so severe that the car after it hit me, proceded to hit the car in front on me. I'm glad he hit me and not the Pontiac Sunfire. There was a 2 year old baby just like my daughter in the back seat. I am sure that if he hit them, there would have been a fatality. I've seen those cars in accidents and they just fall apart.

Thanks Wolfster,

It happened northbound on Erin Mills Parkway, just one light south of Thomas St.

Thanks 35bills,

I'll be alright. My wife is still in disbelief and keeps hugging me. I'll be back with another G. I've been looking at cars tonight, but nothing beats the G in my mind.

I'm just disappointed that I might miss the meet on May 28th.

Trust me the thought crossed my mind. But I don't think the wife will like me to spend that kind of coin.
