Hey everybody, in case you don't already know, my car will be on the cover of the next issue of Performance Auto Sound magazine.

Check it out and let me know what you think. If you were at the last meet I had a copy of the cover for you to see. It looks pretty amazing. They can really make a picture look fantastic with Photoshop.

I started another post in the Coupe forum if you want to check it out here.

Congrats to you too Sammy. It's nice that you represented G35Driver in the article. I'm sure that'll go a long way to helping our exposure and popularity.
We'll certainly look out for the Mag..... For those who don't find a copy, hang on to the issue you find and bring it (or copies) to the next meet.

Kudos bro

Colin.

Thanks guys. I also took home a first place trophy this weekend at the NoyzBoys show and shine in Scarborough for the best engine category. I couldn't beleive it. My first trophy for my G.

Some of the rides at the show were amazing with so much detail to their engine compartments, so I was shocked to find out that I actually walked away with a trophy, especially 1st.

If you guys ever get the chance to attend one of their shows it would be worth your effort because the amount of tricked out cars was unbelievable. It was like a car show at the International centre only in their parking lot instead.

How about a tire print on a sheet of paper with some exhaust smoke added?

The question in my mind is.... how much does one have to spend in mods in order to be considered for one of these magazines. Seems to me that $20K - $30K is quite typical.

Personally I'm far more impressed with those people who have done the mods themselves and still have it as a daily driver.

Look forward to seeing your car in the next issue.

I drive my car as often as I can. It's no trailer queen that's for sure. I've had it out to Shannonville and Mosport for lapping days and had a blast. I've had the front end repainted twice already due to stone chips and will probably have it painted again before the year is up. I don't however drive it in the winter.

As far as working on the car, I do as much as I can with the knowledge that I have and if it's too hard then I have someone with experience help me. I've had my dash apart more times than I can remember and I also did some engine and exhaust work myself.

Yes you have to spend some money to set the car apart from the rest but the main reason is to have parts installed that the magazine can promote for their clients.

I hope that made sense.
