East Coast Meet
yeah, i was pretty bummed i couldn't make it. however i just got back from a business trip to toronto, and saw a lot of G's up there.
my boss actually drove me back to the airport in his new m35x. very sweet car, he spent the entire 40 minute drive showing me all the features
a nice car which would be all the better with the sweet 4.5L V8...
can't wait to see your pics.

Hi guys...
Just got back home for some Canadian Thanksgiving turkey (Sat.)...yummm.....
& another one to come on Monday
The turkey tasted great, but it's still hard to beat all that yummy lobster the past week.
It was really great getting together & enjoying some down east hospitality.
My wife & I really enjoyed ourselves, ....
Great to meet you Shane, ...& Deane great to get together again.
Maybe this is an event that will grow...
I know we'd love to do it again.
I'll post up some more info on the rest of the trip once
we get organizied here...
Lots of pics to follow.

)..The lobster (roll) in Shediac last Sunday was the best, and I also had some in Halifax/Lunenburg which was good too.
Weather could not have been better....no rain and generally sunny and hot, with a couple of cloudy/foggy morns, accompanied by the ubiquitous and soothing fog horn.
Didn't travel as much as wanted due to my cold, but still a great stay and great meet last Sunday.
Great to meet you Shane, and to see Deane again, -- next time we'll see Jeremy too.
More later,
Got a Thanksgiving dinner with family this noon..

Here's a few pics of our meet/lunch in Moncton and Shediac. A truly awesome meet and get-together with great peeps, great weather and terrific scenery.
Pics included are of our hotel in Moncton (Chateau Moncton) next to the Peticodiac river, to chatting on our arrivals, to driving the old Shediac Rd. to the Lobster capital of the world where we at guess what-
, visited huge lobster statues, and walked the beach.(actually some of us 'went in' up to our ankles....water was about 60-65 degrees.
Enjoy.

No sooner does one get acclimatized and wound down to the east coast pace than it's time to go back to the rat race again, boooooo ....
Next summer is a definite for me....and I might even bring some of my family with me.
I'm just editting and 'p-shopping' some pics of Lunenburg and my friend Michael and his family. I'll post here as soon as I'm done.
Man, What a treat to meet a friend I hadn't seen in 48 yrs.

A few pics of my stay in Lunenburg.
For those not lucky enough to visit there yet, it's a wonderful, very well kept, quaint fishing village with so much history and character.
Typical of east coasters, the people of Lunenburg are friendly and appreciative of your presence, genuinely warm hearted, and a joy to chat with.
The pics include shots of my friend's B&B I stayed at called 'Pelham House', some of his family, the Docks of Lunenburg, including the docking of Bluenose II for refitment over the winter months, several large trawlers, the Fisherman's Museum as well as the Fisherman's monument, the Lunenburg Academy, the rebuilt St. John's Anglican church resently rebuilt after a devastating fire in '01, and several shots of everyday residences in the Lunenburg area.
Enjoy......
- The facade of Pelham House...one terrific B&B and quite steeped in history.
- A look along part of Lunenburg harbour.
- one of many Trawler food stores in the area.
- another schooner in for refit and 'wrapping'
- and one of my 'other' ride I came across. Exact same as mine.

and more Lunenburg shots..........
Some more of the buildings around Lunenburg, including the garden at Pelham House. The fuzzy shot is of a huge (common) spider I encountered in the garden. -- lol, he was cool..just sitting around waiting for lunch.
The Acadian influence in colour is ever present and makes for very colourful views. Rather more 'spirited' than our boring earthtones.
