We were thinking Nova Scotia, but this is dependent on getting a dog sitter for our old girl (when we got back from England a few weeks ago she was almost siezed solid from being kennel bound, poor girl) and if a few others from here could manage the trip. We are limited on the time to go cause when we get back Karen has to go to Kansas.
Colin was trying to talk a few of us into going so I thought I would stir the pot a bit. If we do manage to go, we would definitely make sure to get together with everyone out there for a mini-meet if possible.

Aw Man, we are not sure now. My wife is workin today also, and I gave her a call all excited about this trip and now after our talk we are thinking it might be better visiting our parents during that week since they aren't in the the best of health right now. They live 4 hours away. We are going to decide tonight after we talk to them. If we don't go now we were hoping in the fall maybe when we have more time to plan.

Perhaps it would be better to talk about this and plan a trip in the fall instead.

Would give everyone time to think and make plans wouldn't it? Great idea tho Wayne....One which I won't let you forget....
As I said b4, my childhood friend Michael won't be back to Lunenburg until later in the summer, so that's the only drawback for me, otherwise it's a go from my end here with Mom and the kids etc.
Definitely a great idea everyone. So let's say fall time (September) it is.\
Ian, we hope you can pull it off too, and of course anyone else who's up for it.

More to come.
Colin.

Yeah, you definitely can't take a trip to the east coast without indulging yourself in some fresh atlantic lobster!!

You will have no problem getting lobster that time of year. Spring is the best time of year for lobster though, because they are hard shelled and full of meat.

When you guys come east, I will get you to try some dulse. Have any of you Ontario boys ever try it before??

Shane has the lobster question covered. Dulce is a herring choker specialty. I've haven't had any for a long time. Chewy salty seaweed!! What do you think of that Shane?
I will likely be going away beginning the second weekend of October but right now Sept is free.
