I know how that goes.
You eat drink & sleep with the bus. in the beginning.

Hope he takes a minute to come for air soon though...
Hey Ian, Yeh, I expect it's his new bus. ....I'm going to try to track his # down from the Internet and call.........
By any chance do you still have his cell # from his visit in May???

From what I remember, we're aiming for the first week in October for the East Coast, right?

Hey everyone, I heard from Deane (RBull) this afternoon, and he's fine, just a little busy is all.......
I'll be talking to him one of the next 3 evenings......
Here's his answer to my email:

Hi Colin,

Good to hear from you. Thanks for writing.

Yes all is well here in Dartmouth. I have been very busy getting my business off the ground since I was in Toronto last. I haven’t been on the site even once I think in the past five or six weeks.

Yes that is my correct number. I’d love to hear from you and will be home any of the next three nights if that works for you.

Deane

I got hold of Deane (RBull) in Dartmouth this afternoon to say hi, and he's doing fine. As we thought, Deane's been very busy developing his new business :

www.Autoqual.com

which is doing well in its early stages.

I said hi and wished him well from us all.......he's very much looking forward to our trek east in early October, and promised to log in here soon to say hi back.

Hi Guys,
I've come up for air!
Thanks for checking in on me guys and for calling yesterday Colin.
Things are good and hopefully these very long days and nights will get a bit easier now so I can post here more regularly.
It's good to hear you guys are making the trip East. As I told Colin I'll be around other than October 7-10 when I go to Chicago with a couple of buds to run the Marathon.
The car is working great but I haven't had much time to drive it as my daily ride now is an '05 Caravan!
Cheers
Deane

Great to hear from you Deane!
I can appreciate how much it takes to get things rolling with a new venture,
I'm sure it will work out well for you.

Look forward to the trip to see everyone down there

Great to hear from you Deane, and I am glad to hear that your business venture is doing well. A new business can sure eat up all of your time quite easily, but will all be worth it in the end!

Great to hear from you Deane. Like the others said "wish you the very best on your new project". I hope you are getting in a little playtime with your busy business venture and I know you will be taking the odd break for Marathon training

Pat & I were talking about dates on the weekend.

We were planning on being away for 2 weeks.
For us the best times would be the last week of Sept (w/o 26th)
& 1st week of Oct (w/o 3rd).

Do other dates work better you?
..How about you Wayne?
hehehe...., I know those retirment schedules are tough to plan

With Karen's job the 1st week of October is looking the best for us, we can only go for the one week .
Yes Ian retirement life is sooooo tough , not enough time in the day. We are really looking forward to the trip, Karen needs a break with having to work in Kansas City one week a month (she did say Pat would love the shopping there ) . We already have a dog sitter arranged.
I believe Colin is good for the 1st week of Oct also.
I'm sure he will jump on this thread again as soon as he reads this .

That would be great, but Kylie is staying home to keep our daughter in line
