Got to agree, .....one of the all time best.

 

Sadly since Molsons was bought out by US interests, all the I AM Canadian commercials have been cancelled and we are left with the usually party ad crap.

I can't believe Molson's dropped that tagline "I am. Canadian" was just sheer brilliance. I know the US bought them and that's why all this "It starts here" crap has been airing.

Did you guys catch all the variations of this 'rant' as its come to be known as? My favourite HAS to be William Shatner's version of it - I found the text on the web, but you have to see him actually do it live to appreciate it - the Just for Laughs TV show has him on one episode at the credits doing it - its JUST hilarious.

I remember reading that these commercials increased Molson's sales and market share. I wonder if the new tag line will do the same?
