Yikes, that's quite a jump in price. They were about $39 b4 taxes not long ago, now up to $49........
I wonder what Yorkville wants for the ones Jerry ordered in?

^ perhaps give Mr. Lube a try for your oil change. Haven't had an oil change in the G yet, but have very good dealings with the local Mr. Lube for previous cars. Just drive in, no appointment necessary. Plus you can watch them perform the work.

After reading all of these comments, I am becoming very concerned about the service I am going to get when I take my G in for its first routine maintenance.

The only reason why I went to Yorkville was because of Jerry and the extra care he took of my car.

But honestly, that place is dirty, cramped, no where to park...just plain ugly!! Oakville Infiniti is where I go now.

I've been to Oakville for my oil change and to have the Z dropped in. They were good. I'm pretty pleased with the service.

Danny, one of the guys at service is a guy turned on by mods as well, so it's fun just chatting away.

Holy, seems its really hard to find a good "Infiniti" service faculty in the GTA, I have heard so many complaints - its kinda sad since Infiniti is such an awesome car. Truly a sad departure for dealerships, when it used to be all about the customers, now as it seems from all the feedback I am hearing - its all about the dealerships staff who care nothing about the customers or their cars. Still it seems there is service staff who really do care. But it looks like you all have to make the drive now. Good luck.

Jerry,

Oakville Infiniti is where our long time friend "Ed Pastores" is working. I got my 2005 "G" off him last Friday! I also got our 02 Pathfinder, 05 Murano off the guy!!!!

Oakville Infiniti / Nissan IS a great place!

I was just talking with 'Ed P.' and 'Geoffrey Hui' (back from Willowdale days, now one of my best buddies) about how they haven't seen you in quite some time.

I'll PM you ... get in touch!

This is "Eric C." in case you don't recognize me ... remember a 'certain' Shannonville track day in your 3 Series ... taking a 'certain' turn without using brakes? How fun was that? hehe

i have found dealerships in general to act like a bunch of A-holes! my former cars included dealerships like acura sherway and westwood chevy. their service departments were the absolute pits. even infiniti dealer's have turned my stomache lately... especially dixie/401 in which i will never go to again (which is a shame because they are literally a 5 min drive from work). the only dealership i have ever praised is budd's bmw/mini. my wife has a cooper and i have taken the car there a couple times. they have always been courteous and generally interested in servicing and repairing any problems we have. i especially like the fact that a loaner is always available at the exact time my appointment is made. i really can't understand why so many dealerships treat customers like garbage, especially when the car is under warranty. currently i take my G to woodchester infiniti... and even there i only talk to the service guy named sean. he's the only one that actually gives a crap in that place. if our company ran the way these dealer's operated ... we would have gone out of business years ago!

I am almost having the same problems as you do... and I am also looking for the answer to that question? I booked an appointment from Alta but I am not sure if I will go because they can't have a loaner car anytime soon. Everytime I ask for a loaner car, they give me a date like freaking 2 weeks ahead or some BS like that...

Can anyone suggest a fairly good dealer in the GTA?

how are Willowdale or Agincourt?

Here's a fellow G owners review about Oakville Infiniti service (from g35.ca)

Alright . . . I have been pretty happy with my G up to this point. I currently have 20300 kms (12650 miles) on my car and have only had the vehicle since April.

I have had the displeasure of taking my vehicle into the service department at my closest dealership a couple of times now, and have felt completely dissatisfied after leaving on every occaSsion.

On my first visit I asked the service department whether it was normal to have a MINOR stone chip on the side of the car already showing RUST!!!!??? WTF!

I have had 4 brand new cars in my short driving years and have NEVER had rust appear at any time from a stone chip and surely not after 6 months of owning the vehicle!

The service departments response: You can go to our parts department and purchase a paint pen and fix the stone chip yourself! WTF!!! Of course I did . . .and now it looks like ***! It is a known fact that the Infiniti's paint is some of the softest and worst paint on the market . . . Friggen BRUTAL!

My most recent visit was a mere 2 hours ago. I had noticed some increased tire noise and uneven tread wear a few weeks ago and thought I should get it checked out. DUHHHH!!! After waiting 2 hours for the car . . . and noticing it sitting out the back for 20 minutes I asked the service guy what was happening with my vehicle . . . "uuuuhhhh it appears to be finished . . . " FINISHED??? it has been sitting out there for 20 minutes and I am in here waiting???? WTF??? I think they are going to wash it . . . ohhh . . . so all these other cars getting washed have people waiting for them??? NO!!!!!!!! IDIOTS!!!!

So the explaination of my tire wear goes like this: We recommend that you replace all 4 tires. Your rears are almost bald (Bullsh#t), and it appears as though there is feathering on your right side, not the left as you thought. After we replace the fronts we will perform a wheel alignment . . .

Who pays for this? I do??? WTF . . . (BTW . . . had I brought the car in before 20000 kms the wheel alignment would have been covered!)

Of course the rear tires are my issue, I ripped them up pretty good this summer and of course this is obvious! The fronts on the other hand are ticking me off . . . especially knowing that the 350Z had so many feathering problems . . . I am feeling like I am not receiving the warranty service the vehicle deserves.

I plan on storing my car this winter, so rear tires will be replaced after the winter . . . but what about these fronts . . . what should I do? What can I do? Not a damn thing I think??? What do people think?

I laughed and yelled when the service guy assumed I would purchase my tires from the dealership. ARE YOU FRIGGEN CRAZY . . . I can get tires at 50% less money from the U.S.A. than you can provide. Give me a break!

Oh but they did reset my "service engine soon" light for free . . . WHAT A MIRACLE OF GENEROSITY! That was tripped when an oil lube place forgot to replace the mass air sensor cable . . . another stupid idiot.

Sorry for the long thread . . .

Wow, that's a pretty disappointing review.
