My brother got his coupe serviced at Oakville Infiniti for the same issues, and was quite satisfied with what they did for him.
He of course was disappointed that Infiniti isn't stepping up for owners with the same feathering problem as Nissan did with their Z customers, but for the moment, that's the way it is. If enough owners complain to customer service about this shortcoming, then warranty for this may be forthcoming.
No doubt, tho, that there will be some incidents of dissatisfaction with warranty/service at any and all dealers.
If the incidents involved my rides, I would persue it calmly and politely until I got some satisfaction.

i think we all should sign up and call infiniti canada to see if they are willing to do anything to help infiniti's service & warranty.
i used think how bmw service is bad and that's the reason i moved to infiniti, but damn, this is the worst service i can get and not just only one but most dealer close me are fvcked up... and this makes me think how good the bmw service was, another day i went back to bmw/mini for my girl's mini cooper-s, damn you should see how they treat you.
infiniti does make nice cars but just because the service i dont think i would get another car from them...

^ I whole heartedly agree with you gettluvr. Moreover, brand new 05 car and just under 2000 km and the dreadful ticking noises from the vents and clock have started. Even though this is covered under warranty, it is quite ridicoulous. Instead of Infiniti focusing on extra amenities that are mostly useless (i.e. water bottle holder in door) how about looking at overall quality first? Perception is reality and although I am thoroughly enjoying the G, this will be the last Infiniti/Nissan product to ever cross the garage
From all the horror stories about Infiniti service, they should take a page from Lexus service. First oil change was free, your service advisor was actually of manager rank, and they gave you a free meal if you chose to wait for the car. Small things, but makes for a pleasant service experience.
As they say in the hospitality industry, for every 1 satisfied customer, they will tell 2 friends. For every unhappy customer, they will tell 13 friends. Infiniti needs a lesson in customer relations management
Also, on a side note. When disabling the daytime running lights, the "DTRL/Trunk light" fuse was pulled by the dead pedal. It indeed disabled the daytime lights, however suprisingly left the trunk light functioning. However, the seat position front/back function was also disabled by this one fuse!! [/rant]

here is what technician wrote when i brought the car in for the famous clutch noise on 05 6mt
"road test - noise from clutch/trans when shifting at 5-6k rpm
-ridiculous rev so high probably normal no stock unit to compare"
wtf is that ? i cant rev my car to 5-6k rpm when red line is at 7k rpm ....
bunch BS, yes that noise does exist on most 05 but it doesnt mean it's normal.

I think I speak for all here when I say that you sort of get used to them and/or turn your music up louder and louder over time lol

If he needs another alignment and new tires again, the yelling is going to be loud and long on this issue.
Now I don't think there's any doubt that his coupe is suffering the same issue as the Z's faulty front end.
I've heard of a few owners with the same problem, but I'm wondering how extensive it is and how many owners are affected.
I'll let you know what Oakville Infiniti and customer service says this time.
