Why did they not fit? ALL coupes have the same wheel specs no matter what the year is.

The only one I've dealt with is Dave at Stealcase Tire & Mag 905 479-8884
& there's Harry at Big Wheels

Any results with Jerry?? "Yorkville".... his e-mail is in one of the recent threads

Yes - There's always someone on this forum, or over at my350Z selling their OEM 17s. They usually go for $400 to $500 per set. IMO, I like the 7 spoke ones from the "Z" better than the 6 spoke "G".

I've been getting quotes on 18" MSR's for $660 all in. Here are the ones that I'm looking at:

Those are a good looking rim for that money.

FWIW.....something to consider.

I have had problems with winter setups in the past with ice freezing up on them.
It's usually a problem with small detail openings that fill up then freeze.
... don't know if those slotted spokes would be a problem or not.

Frozen chunks can make for a lumpy ride (balanace issue)

Thanks for the input....

The thought of snow getting caught up in the space and frozen, never crossed my mind.

Something I will keep in mind though. Here is the non slotted one that I could get at the same price. Wasn't too fond of it .....maybe for winter may want to consider.

I like it....
I think it looks pretty good; especially for winter setup.
Bonus that the lug nuts are covered too.

I was quoted $90 for steel rims, nothing compare to the 18" MSR look wise but they are also $360 only. I am not sure whether that's tax in or not.

BTW, can anyone definitively tell me whether a set of 5 spoke OEM 17" rims from a G35 sedan will clear the 2005 Coupe brakes? Or Brembos?

Sorry to hear that Matt. They must have increased the brake size since 03?

no worry Dave, it's not like you intentionally mislead me. It's just too bad that they don't fit and I already spent another $50 on lug nuts... and another $40 to swap out the two bald rears that were on the rims... sigh...

The offset on the sedans is different from the coupe. You can safely put coupe wheels on the sedan (wheels are out further) sedan wheels on a coupe will have a negative offset from stock, not sure, but they may not clear the brakes, and they will have a tucked in look.

Well, all is fixed now. Dave at Steelcase sold me a set of steel rims and I am now trying to get rid of my 17" ADR rims. Thanks for the help guys.
