Well, I just got home from picking up my QX4. I absolutely love it!
It is supposed to snow tonight so I might have to out go playin' for a bit.

I will post some pics tomorrow.

Nah, it has the 3.3L in it. They never changed to the 3.5 until 01. I would have preferred the VQ, however the 01s were getting up there in price. Oh well, I am still excited and feel like a little kid tonight.

Have fun bro, but make sure the rubber is in good shape like Jerry was saying.
Enjoy.

It has four brand new Michelin Alpins so they should work quite well in the snow. I just can't wait for a snow storm now......jeez I never thought I would catch myself saying that!!

Sweet Shane . That is one of my favourite color combos.
You'll have fun dashing thru the snow with that nice machine.

Thanks guys, I am really happy with the purchase. I think a G and a QX4 is a pretty good combo.

4 new Alpins should do the trick bro...very nice ride. Great detailing on the inside.....looks like Deane's handywork.

LOL, Shane, I was going to wish you mucho snow, but I just can't do that to you. But I've got a hunch you'll get your wish anyway......
Enjoy, and be safe...

The 2000 QX4 is undoubtedly a better car for weathering the snow and slop. Just be careful with its higher center of gravity. You wouldn't be the first person to hit a patch of black ice and end up rolling one of those. I just emphasize this cause you're coming out of a car with so many safety measures, like ESC, brake assist and a lower center of gravity of better balance.

I went to Fredericton for business last night (about an hours drive) and I took the QX4. This was my first drive in it of any real length and I couldn't be happier! I find the ride is very quiet and smooth. It doesn't seem like I am driving an SUV at all. And the seats......man are they comfortable! They are much more comfortable than my G and the seat warmers work much better.

I did find that she is fairly thirsty little girl when it comes to fuel though.....but I expected that anyways.
