I'm going regardless. Why wait to go as a group?

Damn I should have taken this instead of the BMW Advance II course last summer. Hmm.. next one in June, too bad I can't plan that far head Definately tempted tho.

How are these events for those that are lacking in driving talent ? The description sounds like it is geared towards those who have already taken some prior courses?

These events are perfect for those who think they lack driving talent and could use improvement. If we were good, someone would be paying us to do this. The smaller the ego, the more you'll learn.

Wellll my car won't be ready in time for the June event...

I've got the BMW downsview (2) sessions in July, (might as well beat on their cars a bit )
but I'll definitly be ready for Sept 8th at Mosport

The only possible fly in the ointment, is getting two kids to school about that time.
One in Guelph the other in Lennoxville,PQ.

I'm pretty sure I have Lennoxville sorted out.....
one down one to go

The best facial expression is when the ego boosted "i'm an awesome driver" guy attends a driving school and realizes he knows jack when beginners in his run group are passing him in lesser cars.

And even more fun when said driver still doesn't get it, goes out and dumps money into mods cos he thinks it'll make him faster...and then holds you up on track and brags about being fast! *cough* flutterbush

You guys aren't refering to any one on the forum right? If not, then please share the entire story with us, sounds like we will all have a good laugh.

I presume they're talking about "there's one in every class" type of guy.

Unless it's you... cause I know it's not me, I'm a great driver

Nah, not on this forum...someone Jasonoff and I know. Actually, most of the newbies I've met are very eager to learn....even those who have egos at first are pretty level-headed after their first time.

LOL... I would imagine the first lap or two would bring egos down to earth in a hurry.
