I'm Quite Depressed these days ... my G doesn't even cheer me up!

We going to have a meet anytime soon ... guess this crappy weather isn't helping that. I figure seeing a whole bunch of G's might cheer me up.

Nothin's going quite right in my life ... on top of that, the girl I've been seeing has isolated herself from me for a while.

Sorry guys not looking for any sympathy or $hit ... just had to get some of this stuff off my chest ... especially helps if its posting to people I don't know personally.

I don't know what your situation is about, but I can sympathise with ya. I've been feeling down lately myself. I had a whole thread on why. Members here gave me great insight. Here. Read on. Maybe reading about someone else being down will help cheer you up.

Bro ... your situation is very similar to mine ... only we crossed the line ... we weren't really just friends to start off with ... but I think we got into things too quick. I totally understand the feeling isn't mutual part ... its hard to swallow!

I just have my figures crossed that she doesn't end up being the one that 'got away' ... f_ck!

She was 'almost perfect' to me!!

But the female situation is only a part of my problems ... "99 Problems, and a 'girl' IS one" ...

Did some more reading Badtz ... your view on the 'dating scene' and 'girls' ... I feel you 110% ... I'm 27, last serious 3 year relationship was 3 years ago. I'm tired of the casual dating, and all the BS ... I think its just gonna end up being Me & my G for life!

This time of year is tough, Empz......but you're doing the right thing by talking it out with your friends. Do you have family closeby too?

It might seem like the end of the world sometimes, (yes I've been there too- ), but it really isn't and better days are ahead for sure.
Spring isn't far down the road, only a few weeks now until good G weather again hopefully, when we can get out and meet and compare rides and mods.

Yes we read Badtz's thread and his situation is very similar to yours .. he'll know better than most what you're going thru right now.
I mysef went thru a similar event some time ago.....one which still 'hurts' today, but I've moved on and thought better of letting it drag me down any more.
It's what you have to do.
Talking to friends and family helps a lot, as does staying busy and involved with things instead of vegging.

Stay positive, man, you know you have friends here, and it's almost time to meet up and have some 'G-fun'.

Log in here regularly and stay in touch. You know we care.

Sharing pain is a good way to help it move along. Doing things you like is another. Owing the G is alot of smiles and good feeling:-walking towards it -starting it - moving into traffic flow - being traffic flow . If the first one doesn't get ya, the next one will. I'm in for a cold weather cheer up meet. Maybe even just off the 401 one day when the roads are reasonable. Shoulda coulda been last week. But hey, life was good for ya then, never can tell eh.

Keep yer chin up.

Eric,
Yeah, if it doesn't rain it pours, huh......tough times man......but they say only the tough ones get the real tough problems......

Sounds kinda corny but if you have a pile of issues, it might seem like the roof will cave in any minute.
Suggestion: list the issues and prioritize them... Attack them one at a time, and don't be afraid or proud to ask for help.
Once things begin to 'mend', you'll feel a whole lot different, and be much more positive about life in general.

You know we're here to listen anyway, and do what we can to help.

Like Godmans says, if the weather improves in the next little while, there's a good chance we can meet up and chat.

Stay positive.....Things are probably not half as bad as you think.

Keep the chin up EMPTZ. When things get you down it's best to get busy and do something- anything to rectify the situation or move you on with other things. You'll feel better knowing you're doing what you can and you're also busy so the mind stays occupied on more potentially positive things.

You've got plenty of time to find the right one if it isn't the gal you're referring to. I was married at 30 and didn't find my wife until I was 29!

lots of great points... just keep busy...do things you have been procrastinating on, even if they are boring.

surround yourself with friends....

...not to belittle your situation, but remember that there are many many less fortunate people in this world.

So is your situation just because of a girl or is there more to it aother than that? Whenever I feel down, I always try to tell myself that there are others that have it way worse than you and you shouldn't feel so bad.

I mean girl problems are girl problems, but at least you don't have something more serious like a death in the family, or you're losing your health, or you're in serious financial trouble. At least I hope you're not.

Oh. And I disagree with the "taking the a-hole attitude" route. To me that only makes things worse. You should be the bigger person. You be the one to try and work things out. Give it some time. If she doesn't start talking after a while, then you should consider letting her go. It's hard. It's always easier said than done. I should know. I don't believe in my own words, but I know it's right.
