Just got off the horn with Rick at www.aerocarparts.net and my blades are on the way. My M takes 24" and 18" and they were the same price ($18/) +$5.60 shipping + GST.

Great guy to deal with Gord, TNX for the hook-up.

Colin

yeah... it's good to see a vendor that uses a realistic shipping charge... unlike the many ebay scam artists that sell a candy bar for 2$ canadian and then charge a flat rate of 20$ usd for shipping. u then receive the parcel and it clearly reads $0.80 postage in the upper corner.

Just spoke to Rick and ordered my set. (888) 440-6017 in case you want to talk rather than write.
Thanks for the hook-up Gord.

I just installed the 422A and 418B on my car. Is the OEM driver's side wipers longer than 22"? I noticed that the OEM is an inch or two longer.

Mine are on perfectly fine. Did you remember to close the "clamp" on the blades?

Okay guys, I just got the word on the Bosch Icon availability. They should be in around April 20 or 21.

Price will be $24 each, so they're more than the Valeos. (How much are they from AutoZone in the US? How much for duty and shipping?) I guess they're still cheaper than the CDN Tire ones.

The same supplier distributes the Bosch and the Valeo. According to him, the blades have similar construction, and believes they are equivalent in quality. Maybe it's Bosch's packaging that costs the extra $6? I'll have to see when Rick gets them in.

But at least everyone here will have the choice of these premium blades at a good price.

There, Gord, I pared the 'fluff' (most of it) and got the thread back on track......

Thanks for your work on these blades. I should get my Valeos from Rick this week, and will post back with comments on them.

Akrus, actually I end up with a long list of 'To-Do's' having spent maga time here.... maybe it's time to "pare that list" too.....

C.
