Scroll down and click the picture with the IPOD with the movie screen under the blue light.. My Question here is, does anyone know an audio expert to install the dock and the Ipod in thast holder and make it look professional and smooth ? I am going to the auto show tomorrow looking for someone who can do this but if I dont find anyone there i'd like to know if anyone here knows a Pro installer.. thanks in advance

By the way, I am modding my car just like the G in that link

So noone knows a great installer in the GTA area who can install an ipod (w/dock) like the picture provided above? I went to future shop and bought a 30gb movie Ipod in white today, to match the G .. Someone here must know a good professional audio installer.. Help me out, thanks

Personally, I don't like the install in the example that you posted. Too many downsides:

- ipod blocks radio - I never look at my radio, nor do I use the controls (I use steering wheel controls), but it just doesn't look clean;

- the angle of the ipod doesn't look as though the screen would be viewable, so you'll have to remove it to see what's going on;

This being said, any stereo shop should be able to do the work for you, it doesn't look complicated at all. Visit a shop near you, ask to look at previous work they've done and that should tell you if they would be competent or not.

For an easier and more usable mount, take a look at ProClip part b I've got the mount for my Audiovox PPC6600 and it mounts off to the side of the radio (all the trim has to be removed to install). Power is run to the mount and I find the location to be perfect in the G. I can easily view the info as well as operate the device without endangering other drivers on the road. It's a great combo for a nav setup.

This is the mount that the above piece gets installed to:
