I would agree that's it the weakness of the US dollar accounting for the difference. However there is always a significant advantage the US have over us when looking at prices of almost everything. A good example is the tires Chico had priced. I looked at that myself before I bought the car. Replacement OE Pilot Sports can be bought online ( everything included) for about 60-65% of what I can do locally. Even with the Yen factor I would say we are still getting screwed on many items.
